The UN DESA Policy and Plan of Action for Disability Inclusion (2020–2030) outlines the Department’s comprehensive commitment to advancing disability inclusion in alignment with the United Nations Disability Inclusion Strategy (UNDIS). Building on decades of leadership in global disability policy, the publication sets out a clear framework to mainstream disability perspectives across UN DESA’s work, strengthen accessibility, promote equal participation, and ensure accountability.
