Civil Society Forum - Featured events

The organization of the Civil Society Forum is led by the NGO Committee for Social Development in partnership with UNDESA and the host nation of Qatar with the responsibility of encouraging Member States to establish the mechanisms necessary to ensure civil society participation is inclusive, transparent, and accountable to upholding principles of equity, transparency, and democratic decision-making throughout the planning, facilitation, and implementation processes.

The Civil Society Forum will comprise ten featured sessions, each inspired by one of the Ten Commitments outlined in the Copenhagen Declaration. These sessions aim to foster knowledge exchange, strengthen partnerships, and address contemporary challenges in social development.
