Private Sector Forum

The Private Sector Forum, convened on the margins of the World Social Summit under the title “Second World Summit for Social Development” in Qatar, will be co-hosted by the UN Global Compact, the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), and the International Organization of Employers (IOE). Bringing together governments, business leaders, and employers’ organizations, the Forum will highlight the role of business as a driver of social development, with the capacity to create decent jobs, reduce inequalities, and advance inclusive and sustainable growth. 

As a platform for collaboration, it will examine how the private sector can strengthen human capital and support approaches that foster social development, broaden opportunity, and build resilience, while through open dialogue and practical examples showcasing solutions that shape more inclusive and sustainable futures.
