Logistical Info
- VENUE
The Summit and potential pre-Summit events will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). The QNCC is located approximately 25–30 minutes by car from the Hamad International Airport (DOH).
The venue is a start-of-the-art facility with 40,000 sqm of exhibition space, and is equipped with auditoriums, meeting rooms, and high-tech services.
A fully equipped medical clinic will be available at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) for the duration of the Summit. The clinic will be operated by trained medical staff and will be available to assist with any emergency health situations that may arise during the event.
- HOST COUNTRY REQUIREMENTS
All attendees of the Summit must register with the Host Country and have a valid Hayya Entry Permit.
Information on host country requirements, including visa and other entry permits, will be available on the Summit website in due course, and will also be included in confirmation emails sent to all participants following a successful registration with the United Nations.
Official Government Delegations
Following the registration with the United Nations, the designated focal point must email delegations@gm.gov.qa to begin the Host Country registration process with Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This focal point will be responsible for submitting details for all delegation members to register all members of the delegation.
The dedicated guest management team of the Host Country will assist the focal point with submitting Hayya Entry Permit documentation and coordinating hotel and transport arrangements.
It is important that Permanent Missions coordinate with their embassies in Qatar to ensure all members of the Delegation are fully registered in advance.
Participants & delegates
Participants that are not part of the official government delegations will receive a confirmation email containing a unique registration code following registration through the United Nations. This code will be required when applying for a Hayya Entry Permit via a designated online portal. Each individual must apply independently.
Media
Media attending the Summit must register with the United Nations and then apply for a Hayya Entry Permit through the Hayya Media Portal (HMP). The portal will guide all media guests through uploading documents and, if needed, applying for equipment clearance or filming permits.
This process ensures entry into Qatar, equipment clearance and filming permissions. Early submission is strongly encouraged.
- ACCOMMODATION
Participants are responsible for arranging their own hotel accommodations, unless otherwise notified.
A list of recommended hotels can be found here.
Each hotel will feature an information desk in the lobby to assist participants throughout the duration of the Summit.
Given the high demand for lodging in Doha during the Summit week, early booking is strongly encouraged.
