Getting Ready for the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha
Download the essential guide here.
As world leaders, civil society, and youth representatives prepare to gather in Doha for the Second World Summit for Social Development, the United Nations and the State of Qatar have issued an essential guide to help participants ensure a smooth and sustainable experience at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), from 4 to 6 November 2025, with pre-Summit activities beginning on 3 November.
The guide outlines key logistical information to help participants navigate the venue and its surroundings efficiently. Delegations are encouraged to review the Information Note for Delegates, available in all six UN languages, and to plan ahead by arriving early due to expected road closures and security screening.
The guide also includes a checklist reminding participants to wear comfortable shoes, keep badges visible at all times, and download the TeamUp app for real-time updates on the Summit programme.
With these arrangements, Doha stands ready to welcome participants from around the world for a safe, inclusive, and well-coordinated Summit that advances the vision of people-centred development.
