Touching Down in Doha: Parachutists Fly the SDGs

The skies above the Qatar National Convention Centre came alive on Sunday as a team of parachutists descended, each carrying a brightly colored flag representing one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The striking aerial display marked the opening of the Second World Summit for Social Development, symbolizing the global commitment to inclusion, dignity, and shared progress.

Organized by the Education Above All Foundation in collaboration with Qatar’s Internal Security Forces and Joint Special Forces, the performance highlighted the Foundation’s dedication to education and sustainability.

Delegates and spectators applauded as the parachutists landed in front of the Summit venue, creating a vivid reminder of the collective effort needed to achieve the SDGs.

The moment captured the spirit of the Doha Summit — unity in action for a fairer, more inclusive world.
