Virtual Consultation on Enhanced Participation of Indigenous Peoples – Registration

The President of the 78th session of the General Assembly, H. E. Dennis Francis, has appointed Co-facilitators and Advisers to conduct consultations on possible further measures necessary to enhance the participation of Indigenous Peoples’ representatives and institutions in relevant United Nations meetings on issues affecting them, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 78/189.

On 11 June 2024, an informal virtual meeting for Indigenous Peoples’ representatives and institutions will be organized from 12:00 to 15:00 (NY Time) to further discuss measures to enhance the participation of Indigenous Peoples in relevant United Nations meetings on issues affecting them.

Only approved Observers will receive the Zoom link to participate, which is non-transferable. Please note, when joining the meeting, please identify the name of your organization and your name.
