Registration
Indigenous Peoples' Organizations (IPOs) may be accredited as observers to attend sessions of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII). Based on past practice at the Working Group on Indigenous Populations, academic institutions may also be permitted to attend. Academic institutions must demonstrate work related to Indigenous Peoples and relevance to the UNPFII. Think tanks are not considered academic institutions.
Accreditation and Registration Information
• First-time participation for IPOs and Academia:
Accreditation for IPOs and academic institutions attending for the first time will be open in February for a three-week period.
• Returning participants previously approved in the iCSO system:
Registration for previously accredited IPOs and academic institutions that have participated in the UNPFII will be open between February and March for four weeks.
