Ban urges global pursuit of social justice, dignity for all
20 February 09 Press conference to commemorate the first World Day of Social Justice. Speakers include Mary Robinson, Founder and President of Realizing Rights: The Ethical Globalization Initiative, Member of The Elders and former President of Ireland, Thomas Pogge, Leitner Professor of Philosophy and International Affairs at Yale University and author of "World Poverty and Human Rights", and Eric Falt, Director of the Outreach Division of the UN¡¯s Department of Public Information.
