Call for Applications to host an Exhibition in Solutions Square

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) is inviting applications for exhibitions to be featured at the Second World Summit for Social Development, taking place from 4 to 6 November 2025 in Doha, Qatar. Exhibitions will be hosted in Exhibition Hall 6 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), offering a dynamic space for showcasing innovative ideas, partnerships, and initiatives that drive poverty eradication, full employment and decent work, and social inclusion.

Exhibition opportunities are open to Member States and UN system entities, ECOSOC-accredited NGOs and other civil society organizations, private sector entities, and academic institutions with special accreditation for the Summit. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with global leaders, policymakers, and diverse stakeholders, while showcasing solutions and innovations contributing to inclusive social development and building visibility during a landmark global event.

All proposals must be submitted via the online Exhibition Request Form. Applicants are required to provide a description of the exhibit and its thematic relevance, details of the booth dimensions and format, any partner organizations involved, and proof of accreditation. The deadline for applications is 22 August 2025, with successful applicants notified by mid-September 2025.

Two booth sizes will be available: 3x3m or 3x6m, with allocations made based on availability and the information provided in the proposal. The standard booth setup includes a table, two chairs, power access, and Wi-Fi, at no cost to the exhibitor. Additional setup requests, such as extra branding or equipment, can be arranged at the exhibitor’s expense, with final requests due by 15 October 2025.

All exhibitors must be accredited and registered participants of WSSD2, and each booth must be staffed throughout the exhibition period. Exhibitors are fully responsible for their promotional materials, including banners, posters, and brochures.
