En su 113.ª reunión, la Conferencia Internacional del Trabajo adoptó una resolución que reafirma el papel central de la OIT en la promoción de la justicia social y el trabajo decente de cara a la Segunda Cumbre Mundial sobre Desarrollo Social. La resolución insta a los Estados Miembros a involucrar plenamente a las organizaciones de empleadores y trabajadores en los preparativos de la Cumbre y encomienda a la OIT la implementación de sus resultados en ámbitos como la creación de empleo, la protección social y el diálogo social.
Lors de sa 113e session, la Conférence internationale du Travail a adopté une résolution réaffirmant le rôle central de l’OIT dans la promotion de la justice sociale et du travail décent en amont de la Deuxième Conférence mondiale sur le développement social. La résolution appelle les États Membres à associer pleinement les organisations d’employeurs et de travailleurs aux préparatifs du Sommet, et confie à l’OIT la mise en œuvre des résultats dans des domaines tels que la création d’emplois, la protection sociale et le dialogue social.
At its 113th Session, the International Labour Conference adopted a resolution reaffirming the ILO’s central role in advancing social justice and decent work in the lead-up to the Second World Summit for Social Development. The resolution calls on Member States to fully involve employers’ and workers’ organizations in preparations for the Summit and entrusts the ILO with leading implementation efforts in areas such as employment creation, social protection, and social dialogue.
