Gearing-up for 11th GA Working Group: GAROP/IFA Advocate for the Rights of Older People

This webinar, organized by the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older People (GAROP) in partnership with the International Federation on Ageing (IFA), is part of a series of events aimed at mobilizing civil society to undertake crucial national advocacy work in the run-up to the 11th session of the General Assembly for the purpose of strengthening the protection of the human rights of older persons.

The event took place on 3 February 2021 and was an opportunity for those interested or active in advocacy for the human rights of older people to learn more about activities underway locally and at the United Nations. The Global Alliance is a network of 380 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in 80 countries campaigning together for a dedicated international instrument on the rights of older persons.
