EGM on Family policies and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda

The Focal Point on the Family in the Division for Social Policy and Development (DSPD) of the Department of Economic and Social affairs (UNDESA) organized an Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on “Family policies and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda”, held 12-13 May 2016 at UN Headquarters in New York.

The EGM focused on a number of family policies and their contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 1 to 4 as well as several cross cutting issues pertinent to SDG5.
