The report on "Implementation of the objectives of the International Year of the Family and its follow-up processes" is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 71/163. The focus of the report is the implementation of the objectives of the International Year of the Family and its follow-up processes and the contribution of family policies to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the areas of the reduction of poverty and social exclusion, work-family balance and gender equality, and the promotion of social integration and inter-generational solidarity.
