The theme of the 2020 International Day of Families on 15 May is "Families in Development: Copenhagen & Beijing + 25". UN DESA through its Division for Inclusive Social Development supports the worldwide observance of the International Day of Families and organizes annual international observances of the Day at UN Headquarters in New York focusing on topics relevant to the UN Development Agenda. In 2020 an on-line webinar in observance of the Day will focus on recent research on family policy issues conducted by UNDESA, UN Women and UNICEF with support of the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD).
