The Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (COSP to the CRPD or COSP) established pursuant to article 40 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in 2008. Since then, seventeen sessions have been convened at the United Nations Headquarters, New York.
The 19th session of the COSP will be scheduled to take place at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, from 9 to 11 June 2026.
Guidelines on submitting credentials
The secretariat is pleased to inform States Parties that the e-CREDENTIALS/ e-DELEGATE / will be available from 1 March 2026 for the 19th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities that shall take place in UNHQs New York from 9 to 11 June 2026. In accordance with the Rule 7 of the Rules of Procedure of the Conference of States Parities to the Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities ( CSP/CRPD/2008/3), all States Parties are kindly requested to forward the credentials issued by Head of State or Government, Minister of Foreign Affairs or other competent authorities as follows :
(1) scanned copy of the credentials to be submitted by 1 June 2026, through the online platform “e-Credentials” through the e-DELEGATE portal which shall be made available from 1 March 2026;
(2) the original copy of the Credentials be brought to the secretariat, by 2 June 2026 one week prior to the opening of the session, for attention by PDS/DISD (Programme on Disability Section /Division for Inclusive Social Development) of UNDESA of the UN Secretariat, situated at the 25th floor of the UN Secretariat Building.
