UN World Youth Report on Youth Civic Engagement

07 July 2016

The UN World Youth Report on Youth Civic Engagement, prepared by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, explores young people's participation in economic, political and community life, in response to growing interest in, and an increased policy focus on, youth civic engagement among governments, young people and researchers. In doing so, the Report provides a basis for policy discussions around youth civic engagement in order to ensure that young people are able to participate fully and effectively in all aspects of the societies in which they live. The launch of the place will take place at the United Nations Headquarteres on 15 July, and it will draw awareness to the Report and highlight how young people can use it as a tool for future discussion.
