The theme of the 2024 UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) is "Improving the self-determination rights of Indigenous Peoples within the framework of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, with a focus on the perspectives of Indigenous youth.”

The Forum will be held in person from April 15 to April 26, 2024 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
