795 Million Still Suffering from World Hunger

According to statistics from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, there are 795 million people in the world still suffering from hunger and undernourishment.

This number has decreased by 210 million since 1990 which is an impressive feat since the world population has raised 1.9 billion.

The two international hunger targets that are looking to be met are the Millennium Development Goal and the World Food Summit Hunger target.
