Achieving sustainable development through employment creation and decent work for all | Division for Inclusive Social Development (DISD)

The second Integration Segment of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNECOSOC) will focus on “achieving sustainable development through employment creation and decent work for all.” The Segment will demonstrate how the creation of good quality jobs could be a tool for promoting the economic, social and environmental aspects of sustainable development. The Segment will also serve as a platform to identify policy choices and possible trade-offs that could arise from an integrated approach.

The meeting will feature various interactive panel discussions and dialogues. Side events, that are organized by Member States, the United Nations system and other stakeholders during these three days, will offer opportunities for key stakeholders to engage with each other on this issue.
