COSP17 "Youth Voices and the Message Song"

Youth, making up 25% of the global population, are pivotal in spearheading change. The University of Tokyo UNiTe is a dynamic youth organization that has been connecting young people with the United Nations efforts to protect and promote the rights of persons with disabilities through arts and culture since 2016.

The organization champions the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities by promoting the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and disability-inclusive Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They created a video that features messages from diverse youths from UNiTe, and a message song they co-created with Mr. Eric Martin from the Mr. Big.
