In recent times, digital transformation has become an important tool and an urgent necessity in achieving sustainable development in all areas, especially during the (Covid-19) pandemic, which threatened the stability of the entire world, and it became necessary to find alternative solutions to complete the sustainable development process.
Under the current circumstances, the digital transformation that an important segment of society may ignore may impede the development process.
Therefore, In this event organized by Creators Union of Arab - NGO ECOSOC consultative status in collaboration with Arab Media Union, the speakers tried to cover the theme of the event and main theme of the CSocD59, which is "The digital transformation in support of education and health to achieve social development", and it addressed several axes for each field.
In addition, to highlighting the importance of digital transformation which has become an integral part of the global organization in all fields.
Therefore, several important axes revolving around education and health that directly affect the mechanisms of achieving sustainable social development and their relevance to digital transformation will be addressed.
One of the most important topics covered in the field of health, Achieving universal health coverage is one of the pillars of a sustainable society, Reproductive health and family planning to achieve stability and Supporting research and development in the field of vaccines and drugs for communicable and non-communicable diseases and epidemics.
As for the most important axes of education, it included, Ensuring quality education for all and enhancing opportunities for lifelong learning, The need to support and strengthen the digital transformation mechanism in the basic education stage up to the university level, Spreading awareness of the importance of digital transformation in the community development and Ensure that all those in charge of the educational system acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to support sustainable development and adopt sustainable livelihoods, through this goal, a culture of peace will be promoted, appreciation of cultural diversity and appreciation of the contribution of culture to sustainable development.
