UNESCO’s Sector for Social and Human Sciences is launching a contest to design a visual identity for its sport flagship, Fit for Life, as part of the celebrations around the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP). Fit for Life is a global initiative designed to advocate smart investments in sport as a driver of positive outcomes in education, equality, and wellbeing.
We want more people to participate in sport and to measure the impacts of their participation across society. Part of this connects to a consolidated brand which is appealing and accessible to a wide audience.

The visual identity design contest is an opportunity for sports enthusiasts and creatives around the world to showcase their skills and give an identity to an initiative that will have a positive impact worldwide. Participants will have the chance to take leadership in the development of Fit for Life’s global brand. The winner will be announced during the Seventh International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS VII), which will take place from 26 to 29 June 2023 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The winning entry will receive a series of different incentives, including the offer of a contract at UNESCO to make their design idea a reality. The submission deadline for entries is May 7th, 2023.
