Violence against women and girls in the Pacific region is a serious issue that requires urgent action. Although governments have been aware of this issue after years of advocacy for women’s rights organizations and civil society organizations, they are still facing a lot of challenges, including the capacity building in key areas and assessment to funding and resources. Despite these barriers, there is an abundance of energy and passion among the women and men of the Pacific to take action to end violence against women and create a safe and bright future for their region.
The UN Women Pacific Regional Ending Violence against Women Facility Fund (Pacific Fund) developed the Toolkit to help stakeholders design and implement projects aiming to end violence against women through practical, user-friendly materials and resources.
