Inclusive and Sustainable Development in Africa through Decent Work

The International Labour Organization (ILO) will hold its 13th African Regional Meeting (ARM) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 30 November-03 December 2015.

Hosted by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia for the third time since 2000, the high-level meeting on “Inclusive and Sustainable Development in Africa through Decent Work “is set to discuss the strategic way forward for the region in the context of the recently adopted 2030 sustainable development goals.

Against a background of unprecedented unemployment rates, limited employment opportunities, especially for Africa’s youth, and growing inequalities in access to basic social protection, the economic and social actors of the world of work in Africa will consider key policy recommendations for Africa’s inclusive growth and social progress.
