The event allowed the debate on the role of international cooperation in the task of States to guarantee the rights of the CRPD, in particular, the provision of services and supports for daily and community life.

At the same time, they reflected on the challenges surrounding the strengthening of South - South cooperation.

The studies presented by the World Bank and the CPI, on the situation in the region regarding access to the rights of persons with disabilities, made it clear that public policies on disability must be aimed at eliminating all kinds of barriers, which requires a deployment of different kinds of policies, and at this point international cooperation is a great ally to achieve these ends.

The debate also allowed us to conclude that the synergies between civil society, States and International Organizations become essential to advance in truly inclusive societies.
