Panel discussion: Towards a disability-inclusive post-2015 development framework | Division for Inclusive Social Development (DISD)

The side event "Paving the way for an inclusive future: persons with disabilities and the post-2015 development agenda" held on 11 February brought together stakeholders both from the disability community and the development community to discuss strategies to implement the outcome document of the High Level Meeting on Disability and Development which took place in September 2013.

Those engaged in the post-2015 process from Division for Sustainable Development (DSD) and UNDP presented at the panel discussed the options for inclusion of disability in this emerging framework.

The side-event gave an opportunity to exchange ideas and share information on the developments that are taking place to advance disability as a cross-cutting development issue.
