WSIS Project Prizes 2014

Don't forget to vote for the Plan of Action for the Information Society and Knowledge in Latin America and the Caribbean (eLAC), in which ‪#‎ECLACacts as the technical secretariat and which was nominated for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Project Prizes 2014, in the “International and Regional Cooperation” category. 

Since 2005, the plan of action has aimed to prioritize universal broadband, achieve participatory and transactional e-government, promote safety and the continuity of health services through ICTs, ensure MSMEs’ access to these technologies, and promote their use in education—among other topics.
