Protection through online Participation

Tell us about how you use the Internet to be safer!

Help us answer this poll. It should take you between 5 and 10 minutes.

These questions will be about how children and young people look for help online when they feel scared or unsafe. By ‘online’ we mean on the Internet: social media, online games, chat rooms, websites, videos streaming, for example. Even though these are not always safe, people your age use them to connect, to learn, to play, and also TO BE SAFER. Partners in the UN, tech companies, universities, and civil society organizations want to know your views on this, to help us better understand how thanks to having access to the Internet, children can be safe.

With the information you provide, you will be helping these organizations to make recommendations to the world on how to improve the way people your age use the Internet to be safe. This survey is anonymous. We ask about your views, but not about your personal information to protect you. To learn more about how the information and data are being used, go to the end of this webpage and to the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions).

Now let’s take you to the survey!
