Role of Digital Technologies -Changing the Paradigm of transition towards Decade of Action: Role of digital technology on education (CSocD59 Side Event of Irene Menakaya School Onitsha, African Cultural promotions Inc and tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministries)

This year education system weather circular or non-circular education has faced challenges that negated programs like exchange education, global interconnection, massive connectedness, and ties enacting action on new era of engagement through dialogue agenda, digital distribution, learning platform and best practices for re-engineering, creating professionalism and critical thinking, build strong network and global partnerships and establishing knowledge sharing and best practices across the world must be enabled to encourage new models, campaigns and initiatives for providing education across all levels of education.COVID19 has created overall disruption on global development from the local community affecting human personality and wellbeing.

Overall systems are disrupted including school systems, yet education remains the most paramount for societal progress and imperative for achieving the Decade of Action successes by 2030.The objective is to make input to the outcome of the CSocD59Session through presentation rooted on the:

  • Education in a Changing World: Strategies for adapting to the New Normal
  • Changing the Paradigm of Transition towards the Decade of Action
  • Role of Digital technology in achieving Quality and Inclusive education in the New Normal

Our Organizations will in responding to the mission of Commission on Social Development 59th Session seek to create platform that will enable socially just transition towards sustainable development: the role of digital technologies on social development and well-being of all to enact self-orient their mindset to help develop hidden ideas that could benefit;

i. Development Goals by 2030 in addressing Decade of Action across the world

ii. Enable coaching and mentoring with hands-on technology providing resources necessary for desired outcome

iii. Build network of civil society and non-government organizations to create social awareness and innovation on work virtualization and remote access with government putting adequate and functional technological infrastructure for successful social transition

iv. Build a legacy with lasting impact in the annals of history for the future the world wants for all in order to transit towards sustainable development through digital technology and socially developmental wellbeing!

v. Highlights holistic approach methods for concrete actions with measurable outcomes to ensure comprehensive social inclusion through digital technology inclusion of social protection floors in all round global movement into the decade of SDG Actions

vi. For Socially just transition to Sustainable Development, there must be aggressive mitigation, advocacy and sensitization to drive technology and digital access with right policy formulation and extreme prioritization to increase access to technology.

It is our recommendation that the Commission on Social Development 59th Session should enable opportunities for Global Digital collaboration to drive digital strategy that will enable digital supervised and unsupervised learning to reinforce digital learning in all spheres, and encourage digital transfer learning in ensuring technological outcome within the Decade of Action.
