The business sector in Bolivia

In 2006, a video game company called Peke was founded in Bolivia as way to enhance the learning experience of kids in schools. The games that the company developed were educational and focused on motivating kids to learn. The company has produced more than 200 games for children in primary school including subjects such as languages, natural and social sciences, and mathematics.

Peke is a company that was supported by the Dynamic Businesses Programme which is a programme that supports micro, small, and medium enterprises in Bolivia to launch businesses and create innovative products and services. This programme was funded by the European Union and trained companies and entrepreneurs to market their goods and services.

These programmes are essential for countries like Bolivia to develop businesses and their private sector. Each week, the Dynamic Business Programme monitors the progress of the enterprises they support and work with the companies for continuous improvement. Peke is just one of the many examples of successful businesses that have benefited from this support.
