Working together to solve youth unemploymentjueves, 23 febrero 2012 The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) will hold an exclusive event, “Breaking new ground: Partnerships for more and better jobs for young people” on 27 February from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at UN Headquarters in New York to explore issues affecting policy setting and innovations for promoting youth employment. The event is organized by UN DESA and the International Labour Organization (ILO), in collaboration with the UN Office for Partnerships and the UN Global Compact. Leading up to the event, ECOSOC has launched a Twitter campaign to get innovative ideas that can help solve youth unemployment.
