NGO Participation
UN DESA with the support of the NGO Committee on Social Development facilitate the participation of NGOs in the sessions of the CSocD. NGOs that are accredited to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) may designate representatives to attend the annual sessions of the CSocD. NGO Written Statements is now available: The deadline is 10 November 2025
NGOs in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC General or Special Status) can submit their written statement to the CSocD64, in accordance with Council resolution 1996/31. NGOs in consultative status with the ECOSOC may submit one individual statement per organization and may sign on to multiple joint statements. NGOs are strongly encouraged to submit joint statements in collaboration with other NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC. To submit a written statement, please click here for instructions.
