Nominations to the UNPFII 2017-19

The deadline for submission of nominations of members of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues has passed.
Nominations have been made by a range of Indigenous Peoples’ organizations as well as by governments.
It is expected that the Economic and Social Council will elect the government nominated members on 4-6 April and soon thereafter the President of ECOSOC will announce the appointment of those members nominated by Indigenous Peoples’ organizations.
