Accessible, inclusive and affordable technologies and sharing knowledge and information are key to empower persons with disabilities bringing them out of poverty and fully participate in all aspects of life in their communities.
Let’s Get Together: Women Networking on Humanitarian Action

In conjunction with the UN Women Side event “Humanitarian Crisis: What role for Women and Girls with Disabilities? A Simulation Exercise”, this exhibit promotes the exchange of information and networking between grassroots organizations of women with disabilities on leadership in humanitarian action. Members from grassroots organizations of women with disabilities will be able to obtain literature and resources, speak with stakeholders involved in humanitarian action, and to sign a guestbook, sharing their comments and feedback on the topic. Following the event, a contact list will be generated to share with all women with disabilities who participated in the side event and exhibition space.

AlManarah’s International Accessible Library, completely free and the first of its kind in the Arab world, has produced over 4000 accessible audiobooks, as well as books in formats accessible to people with print disabilities. All of these are available through AlManarah's website and mobile app. Sharing best practices of how using ICT's can improve the lives of PWDs.
