Online registration process for the fourth Conference of States Parties, 7 to 9 September 2011

Please complete the following three steps before accessing the Pre-Registration System. 

Step 1 

• Review and update your contact information. Please ensure that “Disability, Development and Rights Organizations (DDRO)” is selected as the Organization type, and Fields of Activity is “Social Development”.

Step 2

• Click here to begin the online pre-registration process: http://esango.un.org/irene/?page=viewContent&nr=16682&type=8&section=8
• You must click on the Registration link (on the right menu) using your assigned username and password. Please note that your log in credentials to CSONet are with the primary representative of your organization we have on file.
• Click on the link “Designate Representative to this Event” and then add names to register new contacts. Note: Please ensure that the person you are registering in not already on the list.
• Please complete the entire form, including registration information, as well as other details such as country, weight, height, eye colour, hair colour, etc. (as this is required by the UN Department of Safety and Security Services).
• Please note that if you do not have your login credentials, please email the Civil Society and Outreach Unit of DSPD at ngo@un.org and include the name of your organization.

Step 3

• Please be advised that the approval process might take up to 10 days. An automatic email is sent to the NGO confirming each representative’s participation. You MUST login again to our system to download your letter of confirmation which you will need to bring along with an official government photo ID to the registration desk at UN Headquarters to complete the registration process and attend the Conference of States Parties.
• Please note that the deadline for registration is 22 August 2011.
• Within 10 days of submitting your registration form online, a confirmation message will be sent by email to you that contains a link to generate a "Confirmation Letter". You MUST print and bring this letter to the Registration Desk at UN Headquarters to complete the registration process and attend the Conference of States Parties.

The system also facilitates online pre-registration to UN conferences open to civil society and allows for submission of NGO Statements to the Economic and Social Council.
