The High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2025, the United Nations’ central platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), will take place from 14 to 23 July 2025 under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
On 5 July, the United Nations celebrated the International Day of Cooperatives, honouring the unique contributions of cooperatives to inclusive and sustainable development. That year’s theme—Cooperatives: Driving Inclusive and Sustainable Solutions for a Better World—reflected the growing recognition of cooperative enterprises as essential actors in addressing global challenges.
It features over 130 concrete actions to support the renewed global financing framework that world leaders just adopted at the international conference.
